This song was so magical when I first heard it as a kid. I could daydream about it for hours, contriving my own bisexual storyline in to the lyrics that I now realize I misheard. But fuck it! This song is gay and so am I and 1 think it’s lovely and u just have to deal with the fact I posted a video of me singing 😁😁😋 (it’s the last day of pride so u can’t make fun of me for at least a day)
I really did not see this coming, despite the signs from recent news on his health, I was in denial. The closeness I felt to him through consuming his art convinced me that one day I would meet him, pick his brain, talk for hours about dreams, get the opportunity to thank him personally for influencing my life path and making me feel less strange in the world. I can’t believe this. My dreams are crushed. Rip Lynch, you changed everything. Thank you.
