My @submersionfestival 2025 set is out now 🦫
I try to bring something unique and different to Submersion every year - last year I was able to get real esoteric late night on the Beach Stage with my bestie @ch.3visuals 📺
At Submersion the Beach feels like a showcase for production while the Woods seems designed for dancefloor mania. After two years in the Woods it was a thrill to be back at the Beach and with scrim projection managed by @reino.exe 🤩
I tried to bring deejay and dancefloor vibes to the Beach - breakbeats, garage, techno - something pumping to keep people moving, but novel and light to tickle the late night sensibilities.
Lately I’ve been focusing more on music that moves me and less on what’s popular or easy to mix, more on drum beats and moods and less on genres or keys. I think that comes off here.

channel.3 is an all‑analog video artist based in New York City, known for creating hyper‑saturated worlds of nostalgia, political activism, and raw signal‑driven chaos. His visuals blend organic shape generation with glitch‑textures, creating a style that feels both archival and futuristic, like lost broadcast footage beamed in from another timeline.
He has brought his analog aesthetic to events such as Submersion and Resonance, and is a frequent collaborator with The Rust Music, React Sound, and Secret Set.

The VJ world is undergoing a renaissance, and we are honored to have one of the most charismatic pioneers of the movement working with us for the debut of 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅.
Inspired by the lights of @thelazershark , Alex Carro, aka 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹.𝟯, is an analog wizard who designs glitched-out visual narratives that will steal your face and cleanse your soul.
Operating out of NYC, mainly alongside @therustmusic , @ch.3visuals has established himself as one of the most inventive and nuanced visual curators in the realm.
His particular brand of modular madness combines equal parts nostalgia, activism, and fantasy, fueled by a repertoire of breath work and meditation.
On Saturday, September 27th, he will be deploying his custom analogue rig to light up the bowels of The Woodshop in Brooklyn, NY, alongside our chief visual curator for the night - @reino.exe .
