Not all growth at work happens in front of a screen. Sometimes, it starts with a conversation about confidence, details, materials, presence… and the way you show up in the world.
This week, a few curious CGMers stepped outside the coding routine and joined a style workshop together with @tudortailor in Iași. And no, this wasn’t a workshop for salespeople or executives. It was for developers, technical leads, QA specialists and IT professionals genuinely interested in learning something new, useful and unexpectedly fascinating.
Because even in tech, personal style is more than clothes. It’s about attention to detail. Understanding context. Reading people and situations. Feeling comfortable in your own skin. Building confidence before an important meeting, presentation, interview or event. And maybe most importantly: expressing professionalism in a way that still feels authentic to you.
During the workshop, our CGMers explored the history and evolution of classic menswear and womenswear, dress codes, styling architectures, business attire, luxury materials, and the psychology behind professional image. And yes… things got very hands-on by the end: touching natural fabrics, discovering the difference between wool, cotton and merino wool, trying on jackets, blazers, jeans, sunglasses and even exploring fragrances.
At CGM, we genuinely believe people grow faster when they are exposed to different perspectives, experiences and communities. Even the unexpected ones. Technology matters. Skills matter. But so do curiosity, confidence, human interaction and the courage to keep learning outside your comfort zone.
And honestly? We hope we never become “just” a workplace where people come to code and go home. We want CGM to keep being a place where great professionals also discover passions, ideas, people and experiences they didn’t even know they were looking for.

Not every afternoon at CGM is spent in front of a laptop. Sometimes is less “meeting room”, more “open road”.
For the second time already, we teamed up with the amazing team from @volvocarsiasi for a Volvo test drive experience dedicated to our CGMers, an event built around curiosity, innovation, good conversations and, yes… a little bit of adrenaline too.
And honestly? These moments matter more than they may seem at first glance.
Because a great workplace is not built only through projects, deadlines and strategy meetings. It’s also built through experiences that bring people together outside their daily routines. Through opportunities to disconnect from the usual rhythm, try something new, laugh together, discover shared passions and simply enjoy being part of a community.
At CGM, we genuinely believe that company culture happens in these moments too:
• when colleagues exchange impressions after driving an electric Volvo for the first time;
• when teams bond naturally outside work topics;
• when people feel seen, appreciated and part of something bigger than their daily tasks.
And the energy? Absolutely fantastic.
A special congratulations goes to @claudiu.t.m.s , one of our CGMers celebrating 10 years with the company this year, who won the raffle prize: an entire weekend with a Volvo electric model. A pretty good way to celebrate a decade at CGM, if you ask us.
As Claudiu said:
“After 10 years at CGM, what still surprises me is how much the company keeps investing in experiences that bring people together. It’s never just about work here. It’s about people, memories and the feeling that you genuinely belong. It was a really great experience to test drive a small car (but with a lot of power), fully electric. It was a different kind of break from the daily routine. An interactive break where I got to ‘play’ with the EX30 enough to say that I’d definitely love to drive this car even more. I truly enjoyed the experience and I’d gladly join many more initiatives like this at the office”.
10 years ago, we started building something meaningful in Romania. Today, CGM Software Romania is home to 30+ own software products created for international healthcare markets, by a team of over 200 professionals that keeps growing with purpose, ambition and a lot of heart.
We create technology that helps medical professionals work smarter, faster and better. Because healthcare deserves software that truly makes a difference.
In our #CGM10 year, we’re growing even more. New roles. New ideas. New CGMers.

MAYbe… it’s your CGMoment to join.
Some evenings at CGM don’t look like “after work” and more like something you don’t want to miss. They look like a room full of brilliant minds… quietly competing, intensely thinking, and occasionally laughing out loud for no apparent reason.
Last night was one of those evenings. Our colleagues, Alina Gherghel and Oana Agafiței, QA Specialists and masterminds behind The QA Knowledge Quest, turned a regular evening into a 5-round challenge of puzzles, riddles, tricky questions, and “wait… this is actually harder than it looks” moments.
They invested hours into crafting every detail. And it showed. The passion, the precision, the care for the experience… everything was there.
We already knew we have very, very good people at CGM. But even we were surprised when participants solved what was planned as a 1-hour challenge in… under 30 minutes. Yes. That happened.
For a while, the room went completely silent. Not because people were bored. Quite the opposite. Because when CGMers focus, they really focus.
And then came the well-deserved winners:
First place: Anda Damian, QA Specialist – for the first time winner after years at CGM (and former quiz organizer herself)
Second place: Mihai Diaconescu, Product Owner – a familiar name in our quiz hall of fame
Third place: Anca Gheorghiu, QA Specialist – quiz enthusiast, already promising us a future health-themed edition
After the quest, things went back to what we do just as well: talking, laughing, connecting… and, of course, a few people stayed behind to finish the quest anyway. Because that’s who we are. We don’t leave things halfway done. Even when the game is technically over.
And maybe that’s the most beautiful part of evenings like this: they’re not just about games. They’re about curiosity. About people who genuinely enjoy thinking together. About teams that can be both incredibly sharp… and incredibly human at the same time.
At CGM, we build software that supports healthcare systems. But in evenings like this, we build something just as important: a culture where people show up fully with their minds, their energy, and their sense of humor.
And if you’re wondering… yes, we take our fun seriously.
There’s a special kind of energy that happens when brilliant people choose to share not just their expertise, but also their humanity. And that’s exactly what happened recently at a new edition of People of Mind, hosted at CGM Software Romania by the one and only Rareș Chelmuș.
We had the honor of welcoming Adriana Truong for an evening that felt less like a classic talk and more like one of those unforgettable conversations with good people in a warm living room. Honest, inspiring, thought-provoking and deeply human.
Adriana brought with her the experience of building, mentoring and connecting communities across the world, from Silicon Valley to Australia, London, Amsterdam and, of course, Romania. But beyond the impressive career journey, what truly resonated with everyone in the room was the person behind it all: the woman, the partner, the mother, the builder of people and meaningful connections.
What stayed with us most was a simple but powerful reminder: meaningful things are built person by person, conversation by conversation, choice by choice. The evening was filled with honest lessons about earning trust, creating opportunities instead of waiting for them, giving before asking, staying consistent when things get hard and surrounding yourself with people who challenge you to grow. Because in the end, careers, communities and innovation are never built by titles alone, but by people brave enough to build with purpose and with each other.
We also loved discovering more about Frontiers: Iasi, the community founded by Adriana and David Truong, a space dedicated to builders working on the edges of technology and innovation.
A huge thank you goes to Rareș Chelmuș, founder of People of Mind, for once again bringing together such an amazing community of curious, ambitious and authentic people. Events like these remind us why strong communities matter so much and how powerful meaningful conversations can truly be.
And since we already know Rareș is preparing the next edition and the next amazing guest… stay close. Something tells us you won’t want to miss what’s coming from now on.
Some roles follow systems. Others take ownership and make them better.
In May, we’re looking for a Senior IT System Engineer Web Services who enjoys working close to the core of things. Owning services, improving them, and building solutions that actually make a difference.
This role is all about responsibility and impact. You’ll take ownership of a few key application services (mainly in a Windows environment), making sure they run smoothly, evolve continuously, and truly support the business. No cloud this time. We’re talking on-prem, hands-on, close to the system.
You’ll probably enjoy this role if you: • Like working with Windows Services in real, production environments • Are confident with PowerShell and enjoy automating processes • Have experience with CI/CD pipelines • Are comfortable with SQL administration (indexes, statistics, performance tuning) • Enjoy translating business needs into clear, practical IT solutions • Bring 5+ years of experience and very good English
What you’ll actually do: • Own and manage 3-4 application services • Design and build internal IT solutions for CGM • Automate workflows using PowerShell • Work closely with teams to turn ideas into working systems

And, of course, if you know someone perfect for this role, be a good fellow and share this post.
”First time, I joined without knowing exactly what to look for in a company. But fortunately I found like-minded people with whom meaningful connections and moments soon followed. Working in a team that is supportive and open to new ideas is way more rewarding than working alone on a project. I experienced both ways of working, and chose the one in which I am part of a team.”
Meet Ion Bogatu, Senior Angular Developer. As early as in 6th grade, Ion discovered his passion for web development, diving into self-learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and continuously growing as a developer.
After first joining CGM, he expanded his experience as a freelancer, working with international clients, mentoring junior developers, and launching his first successful project, Reverse PET – a mobile app that motivates recycling, recently recognized at the Businesses Under Forty Gala organized by Ziarul de Iași.
This year, he returned to CGM to contribute his experience locally, support the team, and mentor the next generation of developers, driven by one main motivation: he genuinely cares about people.
Great professionals like Ion don’t just build software. They build trust, they lift others, and they choose to grow together. And that’s exactly how meaningful things happen.
People like Ion remind us why we do what we do. Because people like Ion don’t just join teams. They shape them. And they make everyone around them better.
The way people work today is shaped by the systems behind the scenes. And that’s exactly where this role makes a difference.
We’re looking for that one Senior IT System Engineer for Intune to help us design and continuously improve the digital workplace for our colleagues.

You’ll probably enjoy this role if you:
• Have solid experience with Intune (full cloud)
• Are comfortable with Endpoint management
• Like automating things with PowerShell
• Don’t shy away from Linux environments
• Bring 5+ years of experience and very good English

This role is about more than tickets and maintenance. It’s about creating structure, enabling teams, and building smart automation that makes everything work smoother behind the scenes.
And yes, it’s also about impact. Because everything we build ultimately supports better healthcare.
You’ll probably enjoy this role if this sounds like you:
• Solid experience with Exchange Online (including implementations from scratch)
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview
• Confidence in PowerShell automation

Some visits are about plans. Others are about people. The best ones are about both.
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming again Holger Wess, Chief Information Security Officer, together with Alexander Groß, Team Lead of Group Information Security, and several amazing colleagues from our Group Information Security team in Germany, for almost a full week in Romania.
The purpose was simple, yet essential: Bringing people together. With teams spread across countries, cities, and cultures, moments like this matter. They create alignment, trust, and that sense of “we’re in this together” that no call can fully replace.
From the very beginning, one thing stood out. Our Ethical Hacking team in Romania, led by Viorel Lupu, made a strong impression: A recognition of the expertise and dedication built locally.
Of course, there was also plenty of work:
- Shaping the roadmap for the years ahead;
- Defining how we continue to secure CGM’s future;
- Aligning strategy across teams and countries.
All with one constant in mind: people first. “A happy team is a healthy team,” as Holger said. And this week reflected exactly that, just like their entire work.
Because beyond meetings and strategy sessions, there was also time for something just as important: Connection. One day, the team traded laptops for adrenaline and took on the longest zipline in Romania, building memories that will last far beyond any roadmap.
That’s how strong teams are built. Together.
And behind all of this stands a professional global team, led by Holger, whose mission is essential every single day: Keeping CGM secure, protecting our systems, and safeguarding the trust placed in us across the entire organization.
Spring does that thing. Makes you want to start something new. Especially after a well-deserved Easter break. So… why not your next improved role?
Check out our open roles. This might just be your CGMoment.

But we’re not just hiring. We’re growing a team of people who build real impact, you know the kind that quietly sits behind better healthcare, better systems, and better outcomes. Because here, code doesn’t just run. It matters.
Behind every role, there’s a team. Behind every team, there’s a purpose. And behind everything we do, there are CGMers who make it happen. With professionalism, dedication, and just the right amount of fun along the way.
So, if you’ve been waiting for a sign… this might be it. Found a role that caught your eye? Then it’s your #CGMoment. Give us a sign at [email protected] and let`s build together the future of eHealth.
