Chandler-Gilbert Community College Women’s Basketball is hosting a high-level prep camp for girls basketball athletes looking to compete at the collegiate level.

Welcome, Brianna Badonie, to our family. She comes to us from Division 2 Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. While at Western Oregon, she shot 37% from the 3-point line. She was a 4-year varsity starter at Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah. During her prep career, she averaged 16 ppg, 3 spg, and shot 37% from the 3-point line. She was named 1st Team All-Region twice, 6A 2nd Team All-State, and 6A 3rd Team All-State. Her Mountain West Premiere team won NIKE Nationals. Can’t wait for Brianna to bring her big guard skills, competitiveness, scoring ability, shooting prowess, and NCAA playing experience to our program. Huge congratulations to two of our Lady Wolves seniors, Karis Hurd and Markayla Shirley, on officially signing to continue their basketball journeys at the next level.
Karis will continue her career with the Women’s Basketball program at Mesa Community College, and Markayla will continue hers at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. We could not be more proud of these two and all they’ve poured into our program over the years.
One of the best parts of today was seeing so many members of the Lady Wolves family there to support them as they signed — a reminder that this program has always been about more than basketball. It’s about sisterhood, legacy, and showing up for each other.
Thank you, Karis and Markayla, for the memories, the leadership, the energy, and the way you represented Chandler Girls Basketball. The House of Payne won’t be the same without you.
