@thecleanesthorse – I’m so lucky to get to work with creative folks like the duo that started The Cleanest Horse. These ladies seriously know their stuff and really wanted to do something different (which is always exciting) with the brand. A core focus on inclusivity and demystifying the art of grooming so it’s accessible to riders of all skill levels. With a huge knowledge base this was all about finding the balance between professional and playful.
Bright friendly colours, bold gutsy type that’s got a little flair and a tone of voice that isn’t afraid to poke a bit of fun at the industry, were key for this identity. A charming wee mascot and some stylised icons help future proof the brand too as it expands so it’s dynamic and multi-layered. This project was so much fun and I now possess a bunch of new weird and wonderful facts about the horse world. 🐎
Fresh new look for Gilbert Haymes Land Surveyors. With over a century of experience behind them, we needed to respect all the existing brand equity while still creating something new with greater flexibility and impact. Recognition was key, keeping the existing colour palette, but using a bold, refined icon that worked super small or jumbo sized. Chock full of meaning and narrative for a clever identity.

A rebellious, corporate non-corporate that marches to the beat of its own drum. Monarch Platform is a parent company like you’ve never seen before. Supporting it’s heroes (businesses) from the ground up, leveraging it’s years of experience and killer systems to enable serious growth.
Bright colours, bold unapologetic fonts and type treatment set the tone. The logo comes out swinging with custom type and a stylised chrysalis icon to champion our key themes. The supporting identity boasts strategic core messaging, symbolic illustrations and an overall look and feel that keeps it consistently fresh.
Teaming up with Sam again is always a dream! This time for his collab venture of Number11 at Wairau River. The brief was a super slick, refined logo that championed gorgeous type and would be at home in any food-centre city in the world.
Earthy colour palette to blend in with the gorgeous surroundings and a little playfulness brought through in the voice to keep it feeling warm and friendly. Primo spot for lunch here in Marlborough!
So lucky to get to team up with Charlotte again on her amazing new venture – The Soul Vet! This incredible service provides at home euthanasia for our beloved animals in a truly meaningful way – with the ethos of the entire process founded in compassion and empathy.
Naturally we needed a brand to match this soft, comforting energy with super friendly colours and hand drawn type to keep it human. The dandelion was a symbol close to Charlotte’s heart that represents the journey she helps take these precious souls on. SO much love for this initiative!
