Kew, Victoria – The beginning of a garden’s next chapter 🌿
Once a space shaped by noise, play, and open lawn - now gently turning the page. The kids have grown, the rhythm has shifted, and the garden finally exhales.
In place of wide, empty stretches, we’re inviting in something softer… a layered, naturalistic understorey. Ferns unfurl beneath the canopy, textures deepen, and the space begins to feel less like a backyard and more like stepping into a quiet forest floor.
There’s something grounding about this kind of garden. No need for excess or overworked details - just a calm, immersive environment that settles the senses and slows everything down.
A reminder that gardens, like people, evolve. And sometimes the most powerful transformation is not adding more… but creating space for stillness.
