Q. What sort of topics interest you and what is the most important factor in your choice of what to speak about on the show (Catholic Faith Forum)?
MARY-ANN - I’m especially drawn to topics that explore the Christian and Catholic faith—whether it’s doctrine, spirituality, or how faith intersects with contemporary life. I love topics that answer whatever questions believers may have in their minds.
When selecting a topic for the show, the most important factor for me is its relevance to our audience. I aim to choose subjects that not only resonate deeply with viewers but also inspire meaningful reflection and engagement.

Q. How do you prepare for an episode of Catholic Faith Forum? What special skill helps you go all the way from idea to execution on the set
Marianna - I get my topics approved and start scripting. While doing that, I'll already have the guest I want on the show In mind. I'll reach out to them and confirm their availability.
When I'm done scripting, I do personal rehearsals in front of my mirror and then a virtual rehearsal with the team follows before show day.
Special skills...
Covering my actions, rehearsals and execute them with Prayer.
Good communication skills with my guest off the set and on the set.
A pleasant atmosphere (smile, easing the tension😊).
Ability to tell a story notwithstanding whether or not it's written in the script.
Being able to converse and not interrogate my guests with questions.
Being in tune with the conversation and knowing when and how to ask follow-up questions to make the conversation more interesting.
