We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our friends at Bimbo Bakeries for their generous donation of $6,500 to the Center’s Langan School MOVE program. Because of their continued generosity we were able to purchase a large high low activity chair, an adaptive desk and additional equipment accessories to be used within our MOVE classrooms at the Langan School in Albany. Also, many thanks for the wonderful baked goods that were enjoyed by our students and staff.
We’re incredibly grateful for Bimbo Bakeries’ support in helping us create more inclusive, empowering learning environments for our students, thank you for making a meaningful difference!
Today, we honor and remember our dear friend, John McLoughlin. John had impact on the entire community as a longtime newsman, who for half a century delivered the news on two tv stations and in five newspapers.
John was a special part of the Center’s history. For 31 years, John hosted the Annual Telethon to benefit The Center for Disability Services. He will be remembered for his warmth, compassion and unwavering commitment. John genuinely believed in the dignity and potential of every person we support.
Thank you John for helping everyone at the Center get better at life.
We had the most magical night last Friday celebrating the Kevin G Langan School at Prospect Center Prom at The Queensbury Hotel. The students, and their families, along with the staff, enjoyed a night of music, dancing, and celebration as we begin to see the end of another successful school year.
Thank you to the Queensbury Hotel for providing the space and their hospitality. A special thank you to planning committee for making this such a special night for our students and their families.
It was truly a fairytale!🌟
A huge thank you to the Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake High School X-Factor student leadership and mentorship service group! This group, focused on serving their community and school, was a tremendous help at Clover Patch Camp today. Forty students came out to clean, remove old furniture, and organize the camp. Their hard work brings us one step closer to opening day!
Thank you for your dedication, contribution, and effort. We truly appreciate it.
Yesterday we celebrated a special graduation at the Kevin G Langan School in Albany. Due to a relocation, Josh will be unable to join his classmates at graduation, so Josh got the next best thing, his own graduation!
We are so proud of Josh and all of his accomplishments, and are wishing him the best on his next chapter!
