Soldiers from 3 PPCLI were in the Philippines for Ex BALIKATAN training alongside members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the US Marine Corps and other partners. The Canadian Army contingent on this exercise highlights Canada's Indo-Pacific Strategy and enhances our presence and relationships in the region.

33 Canadian Brigade Group (33 CBG) completed Exercise WOLFPACK AMBUSH over the consecutive weekends of March 20-22 and 27-29, with personnel participating from units across Northern, Central, and Eastern Ontario.
Hundreds of Army Reserve soldiers converged for the major live-fire training event, forming a “team of teams” that could serve as a rudimentary framework for future CBG tasks that may include standing up light-infantry battlegroup forces aimed at maintaining ARes readiness to support international operations. These new units will be made up of full-time reservists.
Known as “The Wolfpack,” #33CBG was ready to test the model.

Le 33e Groupe brigade du Canada (33 GBC) a mené l'exercice « WOLFPACK AMBUSH » pendant les week-ends consécutifs du 20 au 22 mars et du 27 au 29 mars, avec la participation de personnel provenant d'unités du nord, du centre et de l'est de l'Ontario.
Des centaines de soldats de la Réserve active se sont rassemblés pour cet important exercice de tir réel, formant une « équipe d’équipes » qui pourrait servir de cadre de base pour les futures missions du #33GBC, lesquelles pourraient inclure la mise sur pied de groupements tactiques d’infanterie légère visant à maintenir la préparation de la Réserve active à soutenir des opérations internationales. Ces nouvelles unités seront composées de réservistes à temps plein.
Surnommé « Le Wolfpack », le 33 GBC était prêt à tester ce modèle.
