This year has been one of the most challenging years of my life. (IF. YOU. KNOW. YOU. KNOW.) It’s not my first rodeo but I’m always reminded to go back to my roots when things get overwhelming. Through all the chaos, God still finds a way to kiss my cheek and show me that he’s holding my heart. Last night I got the chance to meet one of my hero’s since I was 10 years old. My favorite auntie and my mom’s best friend (in my head lol). Just as cool and kind as I’d imagined she’d be❤️ Complex Simplicity inspired me to write and to find my own voice. Thank you @teedramoses for the words you’ve contributed to this world and your kind words to me 💕
