I am so so excited to be reading a very special story by my dear friend @mater.matutolypea on my radio show tomorrow! Morgan is so special to me in so many ways. She is the most incredible bookbinder, weaver of webs, wordsmith, seer of stars, a loving nurturer, an ever flickering flame. She is extraordinaire! These photos and videos are from a very special time we had together on an island in Maine a few years ago. Some of my most cherished memories; riding the ferry through misty waters, making rosehip elixirs from the little faerie bushes on the island, morgi showing me new & mysterious mushrooms, little tiny concerts with little tiny friends, bathing our souls in the salty seas… I love her so much and I cannot wait to read her beautiful story tomorrow! The last picture is from when we met in Ireland 10 years ago, taken by the most lovely @_skylarbrennan

I am so excited to be hosting my first radio show this evening! My show “Voices Through the Mist” is a show focusing on storytelling and poetry with music woven in between. I’m so grateful to the wonderful @khha94.7 for creating such a beautiful platform to tune in and hear the voices in our community. My show will be every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of the month from 5-6pm PST! These photos I took at Sacro Bosco “Sacred Grove” also known as the Park of Monsters. Within the garden, stone creatures and sculptures weave between the wild woods. Most of the stone beings with their mouths wide open as if in cry, perhaps in silent sound and fury, perhaps a doorway, a passage into the mystery of the unknown. there are many inscriptions within the garden carved into the stones and outlined in red. Two such descriptions, “All Reason Departs” and “You who enter here put your mind to it part by part and tell me whether so many marvels were made by deception or by art” remind me again and again that mystery and wonder often live in our unanswered beings.
My hope in doing this radio show is to offer stories, poems and music that can become passages into new realms of being, old realms of being, an opening into our own interior garden of monsters and wonder.

After many moons I’d like to introduce The Fluted Sill, a shop to sell my work! How special and cherished that space is within all of us that reaches towards curiosity, that illuminates our soul and tethers us to the beyond. Here are incarnations of my own inner wanderings, reveries found somewhere between the rainbow’s petaled hands and the hands of another.
