Hello! I’m Cesar, a concept artist completing my honors year at CDW Studios. I enjoy creating characters, props, and environments for fantasy and sci-fi projects. I love movies and grew up watching all the superhero titles. I hope to one day be part of making one and inspire people as I was inspired.
Meet Marauda, the new DPS hero joining the Overwatch roster! (or I wish lmao). I challenged myself to create my own Overwatch character over the holidays and I chose to make a DPS omnic as there aren’t any that resemble how Zenyatta and Ramattra look in the DPS role. This is still really rough and in future I will finalise the design as I only got up to colour scheme. I knew I wanted a nautical theme whether it be pirate sailor or diver, and I also wanted her to look aggressive while adding some goofiness that the early Arnold Tsang OW designs had. Hopefully I revisit this in future, for now, Honours here I come!

These are my other two characters for my design class. These are the healer and Spellcaster characters, and I took The flower which quite far because I was having a lot of fun with it.
For character design class this year we had to design a character every two weeks. This is the DPS Ranger and my Hero version of him that I turned into a little IP exercise. I also made a cheeky logo for my own pleasure.
