A very busy period, with a variety of sectors served. We’ve just delivered a suite of 55 electrical test fixtures to a UK EV motor manufacturer. Made from high spec composite material and machined to close tolerances a real test for our machines.
The year end saw 3 special purpose machines nearing completion & a suite of robot weld tools ready for delivery. The work ranges from an ultrasonic welding cell with an automatic leak test station, to a pair of EV battery cooler plate test machines.

With assistance from the Blaenau Gwent Business Development fund we’ve added to our workshop capabilities with the acquisition of a new XYZ TMC750. We had the pleasure to host Cabinet member for economy & place Mr John Morgan together with Development officers Louise Harris & Clare Jones, who
visited CES to see the machine in action for the first time.
Another example of how we collaborate with our customers to produce workable solutions for their manufacturing needs. Here’s a suite of induction braze fixtures to aid the manufacture of electric drive motors for some of the Worlds most desirable supercars.

CES supported rider Adam Sterry has completed his best season to date in the premier MX1 class. Adam finished second overall in the British Championship & was the only UK rider to give the eventual winner Conrad Mewse any trouble. At World level, Adam scored points regularly in the GP’s finishing just outside the top 10 on numerous occasions. – a massive congratulations to Adam & the Chambers racing team.
To ensure the accurate & consistent dosing of cleaning fluid to an automotive service wipe, we designed, manufactured & fitted this “precision mangle”. Quick release upper rollers & visual counter positioning, facilitate smooth changeovers & setting.
Exhaust systems play a major role in ensuring that modern ICE cars meet the incoming EURO 7 emission standards. To aid our customer in producing such a system we’ve produced this pair of exhaust sun assembly gauges.
Although our core work is the Design & Manufacture of special purpose equipment, we still support our customers in producing parts to their own designs. Here are some components made in house this week.
It’s been a very successful start to the 2025 season for our sponsored rider Adam Sterry and the Chambers Racing Team.
After the first round of the British championship Adam lies second in the standings. The next round is on the 18th of May at “Canada Heights” Kent.
On the world stage Adam has been in the points at all the rounds to date with his best performance being at the Sardegna round on 5th - 6th April. Adam came in 11th in the qualifying race & finished a highly creditable 13th & 16th in Motos 1 & 2.

To facilitate process improvements we’ve designed and manufactured this dual station battery terminal finishing machine. Colour coded quick change tooling allows different variants to be processed.

2024 has been another year of steady growth. A warm thank you to our customers old and new.
We round the year off with a completion of two “intelligent” assembly and test stations for the automotive sector. In addition to these we are at the final commissioning stage of an EV battery cooler plate CNC finishing machine.
