GOODNIGHT GOTHAM . Maria, the evolution of this piece went from a studio session, to dancing in freezing cold rain, in the middle of winter… for 2 hours. 😂🤏🏼 You trusted me and dug deep into the work. The physical, mental and emotional journey we experienced together was one of my favorite parts about this. I felt like a superhero, and GOTHAM felt real for just a moment in time. I thank you for being flexible and committing to this crazy idea of mine. Jake, you and that camera of yours are something else. We took a chance, and look at what we produced! The contrast of our struggles between Maria and I in GOTHAM was captured so beautifully. You made us look like that image I shared of Rihanna walking through the city, just how I hoped. I thank you for letting me dress you down in ponchos, and for being so generous with your expertise, and your patience, on this project. HayWyre, as our conversations developed for this project, the excitement and passion to bring GOTHAM to life, along with my confidence in the finished product, grew. I thank you for dousing Maria and I in warm water, and working so harmoniously with Jake. You were the glue in this operation, truly. From the start of this process to our finished edit, you are a visionary through and through. . Without you three, this wouldn’t have at all been possible.
