This Steamboat Springs Residence is a true mountainside retreat. Nestled seamlessly into the Yampa Valley with lush native plantings and a stunning green roof this dwelling is in perfect harmony with the environment. It was a pleasure to work with our friends at Shepard Resources to design this divine oasis for our clients to enjoy.
Who’s ready for the weekend? We think this residence is the epitome of rest and relaxation. We created a native plant palette to tie seamlessly into its natural surroundings. The overall design is accompanied by boulder outcroppings to bring the mountains a little closer to this lakeside beach.
We enjoyed working with our friends at @khwebbarchitects to create this Modern Vail Residence that uses natural design to compliment the sleek lines of the architecture with lush plantings and naturalistic water features.
We designed this multipurpose event space to be an extension of the surrounding landscape, by introducing native plantings, naturalistic water features, and boulder outcroppings that can be found in the natural environment at this luxury Wyoming ranch.

Whether day or night, this luxury Yampa Valley residence is all about the mountain views and water features. We kept plantings at a minimum to highlight the natural landscape and not compete with it. At night, outdoor lighting is strategically placed to create a dramatic reflection on the surface of the pond.

The outdoor spaces of a luxury residence merge seamlessly with the natural landscape of this Mountain Star property. Paths throughout the site lead our clients through lush, heavily-planted areas, and to high alpine gardens and water features that mimic waterfalls and natural streams–typically found while hiking. All of this is meant to serve as a backdrop to the stunning mountain views. The residence was designed by our friends at @ccyarchitects
