Diolch arbennig i Bronwen am ysgrifennu’r anthem ynghyd â’n disgyblion! Cadwch lygad allan am ei rhyddhau’n fuan! Huge congratulations and thanks to the 1000s of young people and school teachers who have been part of this incredible project, to our star soloists @mikedoyle6603 , @shellyannofficial and of course @bronwenlewis . A special thanks to Bronwen for writing the anthem along with our pupils! Watch this space for its release soon! A big thank you to the Utilita Arena Cardiff and all the production crew for your support ~ what a team! Our summer term concerts are coming up! The first date for your diary is our Symphonic Brass concert. 'O Magnum Mysterium', an evening of masterpieces for brass and organ, will be on the 9th July in St Augustine's Church, Penarth. The concert will include works by Strauss, Bach and Lauridsen, with Jeffrey Howard playing organ. Tickets are available via TicketSource. Ar Fawrth 21ain, cynhaliwyd digwyddiad rhanbarthol ar gyfer Cerddoriaeth i Ieuenctid a oedd yn cynnwys ein Cerddorfa Ysgolion Uwchradd, Llinynnau Canolradd, Ensemble Gitâr, Band Pres Hyfforddi, Meistri Groove, Cerddorfa Starters, Cerddorfa Jazz Gwasanaeth Cerdd Caerdydd a’r Fro, Ensemble Offerynnau Taro, Côr Ysgol Uwchradd Caerdydd, a dau o grwpiau siambr Academi Addysg Gerdd CF. Rydym wrth ein bodd yn cyhoeddi bod cerddorfa’r Ysgolion Uwchradd, Cerddorfa Jazz, Gitarau a’r Triawd Piano gyda Sarah, Xinrong a Daniel! On March 21st we held a regional event for Music for Youth that featured our High Schools Orchestra, Intermediate Strings, Guitar Ensemble, Training Brass Band, Groove Masters, Starters Orchestra, Cardiff and Vale Music Service Jazz Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Cardiff High Choir, and two of our CF Music Education Academi chamber groups. We are thrilled to announce that the High Schools orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, Guitars and the Piano Trio with Sarah, Xinrong and Daniel have been invited to perform at the National Festival in Birmingham!! Well done to all who performed on the day, a fantastic day of music making! 📸 @lluniau

Daflu’n ôl i’n cyngerdd gwych a gynhaliwyd yn Neuadd Hoddinott y BBC ar Fawrth 26ain. Roedd y cyngerdd yn cynnwys ein Offerynnau Taro i Ddechreuwyr, ein Ensemble Telyn, Chwyth Sylfaenol, a’r Gerddorfa Sylfaen. Fe wnaethon nhw chwarae i gynulleidfa oedd wedi gwerthu allan a derbyn cymeradwyaeth sefyll haeddiannol!! Da iawn bawb a berfformiodd a diolch yn fawr i chi gyd a ddaeth i gefnogi, a’r tiwtoriaid am noson wych.☺️ 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 Throw back to our fantastic concert held in BBC Hoddinott Hall on March 26th. The concert featured our Beginner Percussion, our Harp Ensemble, Foundation Wind and the Foundation Orchestra. They played to a sold out audience and received a well earned standing ovation!! Well done all who performed and many thanks to all of you who came to support, and the tutors for a fantastic evening ☺️ 📸 @dynasty_photography_

CODI LLAIS Still taking it all in from Wednesday. An absolutely incredible night at the @utilitaarenacardiff - the scale, the energy, the impact…something really special! I’m beyond proud of Liz for spearheading the whole thing. The vision, the graft, and the care behind it all was there for everyone to see. Huge thanks as well to the whole @cerddcf team who made it happen - so much work behind the scenes to give those young people a night they’ll never forget. In particular, big kudos to my fellow animateurs for their hard work over the last few months @sparkling_leoperard @jamesifan @hollieanneclark @peterehughes_ . On a personal level, it meant everything to share that moment as a family. Watching Gwen and Morgan perform on that stage, and having the four of us part of the same event…that’s a memory for life ❤️ And to work alongside such consummate professionals - on stage and off - band, crew, special guests, everyone - made the whole experience a joy. Special diolch to @bronwenlewis , @shellyannofficial , @mikedoyle6603 and @elin_llwyd . A night those kids in Cardiff will carry with them for a long, long time. Keep ‘raising your voice’ children of Cardiff 🤘🏻
