Within DTS – Daring Art Explorations, design becomes a field of experimentation where matter is never fixed, but constantly redefined.
Metamorphoses by @oliverlaric embodies this vision—transforming ceramic surfaces into a study of change, transition, and perception.
Inspired by the idea of continuous transformation, the collection explores the blurred boundaries between sculpture, image, and material. Surfaces shift with light and perspective, revealing different identities depending on how they are seen and experienced.

Outdoor design require materials that perform over time—without compromising design.
Thanks to 20 mm thickness, porcelain stonewares are engineered to meet these demands with a balanced combination of technical reliability and aesthetic versatility.
Its low water absorption makes it resistant to moisture, frost, and temperature changes, ensuring stability in all weather conditions. Slip-resistant finishes enhance safety in wet areas such as terraces, pool surrounds, and walkways, while the surface remains easy to clean and maintain over time.
A wide range of formats and textures allows for design continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting cohesive and functional architectural solutions.

Designed for both walls and floors, Giotto decor pays homage to the masterpieces of the great master painter, recalling his unmistakable language through the presence of golden stars—an iconic signature that transforms the surface into a symbol of timeless beauty.
Each detail suggests an atmosphere suspended between art and architecture, where ornament is never excess, but meaning. A quiet reference to eternity, translated into contemporary material form.

Inspired by the tradition of Italian wall painting, each surface of Affrescati collection is built through a delicate balance of pigment, matter, and manual-like marks—where subtle reliefs, trowel movements, and chromatic stratifications create a depth that feels almost painted by hand.

Inside Refin Studio, architecture meets perception. The environments aren’t directly accessible—they’re revealed through framed openings that guide your gaze and focus your attention. Each viewpoint transforms observation into an intentional act.
As you move through the space, tactile totems invite you to touch the surfaces, exploring materials up close and discovering their characteristics. The installation becomes a journey: a contained world, a portal where light, matter, and perception converge.
Three distinct spaces offer creative inspiration, showing how surfaces can be used in innovative ways. What you see, what you touch, and how you move shape your personal experience—and complete the story of the installation.

Alessandra Salaris, founder of @studiosalaris , shares the vision behind the concept of The Observer Effect - Where Perception Designs Reality, presented at Refin Studio during Milan Design Week 2026.
The project originates from the DTS Variation surfaces, where material is understood as dynamic—shifting through light, perspective, and context. This idea shapes an immersive installation where perception becomes the key design tool.
Using the Kaiserpanorama as a spatial device, the exhibition guides the gaze through framed views, alternating between rational and creative perception: analytical reading of materials through totems, and more intuitive exploration through controlled openings and visual fragments.
The result is a “quantum theatre” where observation is not passive, but active—transforming the visitor into a co-creator of the space offering new design inspiration.

At Fuorisalone 2026, The Observer Effect - Where Perception Designs Reality reveals the duality of perception. ✨
In Refin Studio, the space invites you to experience both rational and creative perception: your eyes analyze form, light, and geometry, while your sense of touch explores texture, depth, and nuance. Both are essential—logic gives structure, creativity gives life.
Here, every glance and every interaction shapes the space. Surfaces respond, reflections shift, and the environment becomes co-created with your presence. You are not just observing—you are part of the design.
