I’m Zoë, the clay gremlin behind Ceramic Dirt. I’ve been on this journey for the last two and a half years and will confidently assert that pottery has changed my life. Ceramics has given me a long sought after language to explore the world with, one I can’t imagine ever being without.

Couldn’t resist sharing more of these images with you.
Rather than cobalt blue, these vessels are lined with a matte black glaze. While not as vibrant as blue, the black provides a nice contrast and pulls out the natural black speckle in the clay.
In the last slide you can pick out what these vases look like freshly thrown, before the speckle has revealed itself.
