⎡GUEST OF HONOUR 2027⎦⁠ We are delighted to announce that French artist @marionverboomstudio will be the guest of honour of ceramic brussels 2027. Based in Paris, her work unfolds through a precise sculptural language informed by architecture, mythology and systems of writing, where forms evolve through layering and recomposition. Her sculptures, produced in a wide range of materials and colours, reflect a constant permeability between different histories and aesthetics, from ancient to contemporary forms. ⎡ART PRIZE — OPEN CALL⎦⁠ Applications are now open for the 4th edition of the ceramic brussels art prize! ⁠ The ceramic brussels art prize is an annual prize dedicated to contemporary creation. It aims to support and highlight the vitality of the European ceramic scene by offering selected artists the opportunity to present their work in a dedicated space within the fair, in direct contact with an international audience. The laureates of the ceramic brussels art prize will showcase their work in a group show during ceramic brussels 2027. Several additional awards will be presented to the artists during the opening such as a solo show at the next edition of ceramic brussels in 2028, an international residency, and/or an acquisition (list of awards to be disclosed at a later date). ⁠ Applications are open to Europe-based artists, not (yet) represented by a gallery.
