Firstly, 2 happy things - new water bottle & lotsa real estate for stickers!
Secondly, a small problem gave me a chance to make something!
When I got my new water bottle I noticed nobody really sells bottle straps for bottles with a handle. And because I really wanted it to be carried like a sling for an easier drinking experience, so sister decided to make one!
Every stitch on this strap is hand stitched, and the design is also inspired by Burberry’s colorful bottle strap design! Absolutely love this creation. Stitches are a little uneven so I’d love to make another one when my sewing improves!
FAKE ICE CREAM 🍦
I was trying to figure out how I could make the ice cream drop on command without too much mechanism as the request came on the (emphasis on short) shorter end of a notice. The idea gods bestowed upon me this solution - using a transparent plastic sheet
Took 1.5 weeks to make boxes! And if u ask why it took so long, the answer is slanted sides and BIGGGG
It was a pretty fun & challenging prop to make haha I was soooo proud when it’s completed, so much experimentation went into it.. and so.. much.. math🥲 I loved it though despite the painful calculations I went through. I really liked that I was able to focus only on one thing and trying to perfect it
This was a shoot made with love. If you’ve seen the shorts on @sgstory.sg you may have seen this story abt Chuan Kee Watchmakers. I was in charge of graphics for the shoot, it was nothing but a crazy magical experience. I did multiple research on art styles that were period accurate and trying to also find enough prints to change in each decade it make the difference visible.
After watching the final work, I do think the change could have been more drastic but given the limited resources I think we did pretty okay. I definitely learned how I do it better if Im given a similar opportunity again.
This one has a special place in my journeyđź’•
This was a special gig coming on board, it was like a beautiful mix between floristry and art dept and I was grateful to have this chance to showcase both my strengths. Although I mainly helped with floral arrangements, I had the chance to see how the set up comes to be and see all the amazing tableware that’s been sourced by the art department. It was such a fun and unique project🫶🏻 I honestly felt like it was a fever dream when it all ended haha
I learned a lot when I was a propsmaster on this kinder bueno set. I hadn’t worked much with chocolate prior, and I learned how to be gentle manipulating the chocolate to make it break in a flattering way. Very fun experience!
Throwback to making pinwheels for the first time for a national day shoot. Unfortunately they didnt make it into the cut, the pinwheels idea where dropped a day before shoot): but they will not be forgotten bcos heart and sweat went into it! 🔥
Prop fabrication for a gameshow shoot
We had to rig one of the chapteh to make it more challenging to play with. We decided on adding weights using giant washers. After surgically detaching the base and then adding the weights, I used clear tape to secure the base back. Went a few extra rounds to be safe xD
Then we also printing true/false graphics on foamboard to create a double sided sign for the questionnaire section. 🥰

Part 2 from the same shoot, we got a super cool floor lamp that has chilli vibes!
And I had a lot of fun dressing this space as well, transforming it into a super multi colour super space🥰
