It was one of the largest projects Iโve worked on Ceptre so far. It took me more than a year to go from final v1 to the last final: v87
At some point, It even became a little spiritual journey that taught me a lot about creating. It further solidified my belief that the intentions are the most crucial part of making music, and with that, I knew that chasing โperfectionโ in the sound is redundant for me and that the character of the sound coming from the earlier mentioned intentions is the thing that I wanna have most prominent in my music. I ended up having so much fun driving the tune through different analogue gear, giving it too much colour, not caring about if it was "correct" just because it was fitting my idea for the story I wanted to tell in this track.
