Today we’re proud to release our 2025 Annual Report: Building What's Next.
At CEO, we’re pairing evidence, innovation, and courage to build the reentry infrastructure our country has long needed.
In 2025 alone, CEO served nearly 8,000 people returning home, paid almost $20 million in wages to people returning home from incarceration, and published independent evaluations showing reduced parole violations and rising earnings.
This is what’s possible when opportunity comes first. Read the full report and see the impact at the link in bio.

In this next chapter, he will continue to ensure that CEO’s message remains rooted in the lived experiences of justice-impacted individuals and the communities we serve.
We’re looking forward to what’s ahead under his leadership. #LeadingWithoutLimits
Brick by Brick, Opportunity 2030 is laying the foundation for a reentry system capable of reaching every person returning home from incarceration.
Starting in Arizona, CEO is partnering with @arouetempowers to expand paid jobs, career support, and long-term reentry services for women returning home after incarceration in Phoenix.
This first-of-its-kind partnership will help unlock new federal funding opportunities, combining CEO’s paid transitional employment model with Arouet’s pre-release and reentry support services.

When someone leaves incarceration, they often face a reentry gap: no ID, no money for a bus to get to work, and no safety net to cover the basics.
@fox31denver spoke with participants who testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about the challenges of reentry without these supports and how access to them can help people build stability and move forward after incarceration.
As the Reentry Readiness Act moves through the legislative process, it would help ensure people have access to these essential tools when they return home.

How does health coverage impact workforce participation? In the #CEOPolicyLab, we’re breaking down why Medicaid access is a prerequisite for long-term stability after incarceration—especially as new work requirements reshape who can stay covered.
Without access to real employment opportunities and support, many people risk losing healthcare before they’ve had a fair chance to reenter the workforce.
Reentry success is a public good, and it starts with ensuring every person returning home has the health support they need to succeed.

At #CEOHarrisburg, participants in our FCM workshop focused on building confidence and preparing for the workplace through professional dress and presentation.
For many, it was the first time learning how to tie a tie, turning a simple skill into a meaningful step toward showing up interview-ready and job-ready.
With support from donated, gently used ties and dress shirts, participants practiced in real time and left with professional clothing of their own. The workshop created a supportive, hands-on environment where participants could build skills and strengthen confidence.
Every day, mothers in our programs are working, rebuilding stability, and creating better outcomes for their children. That work doesn’t just change individual lives, it strengthens families and communities.
Today, we are highlighting Genevieve, CEO’s Vice President of Capacity Building and Technical Assistance, and Melanie, a former CEO participant and staff member who continues to stay closely connected to our work and support the broader community.
Both are justice-impacted women whose experiences reflect resilience, commitment, and what is possible when opportunity meets determination.
We’re grateful for them, and for all mothers who continue to show up. Happy Mother’s Day.

Karina started as a CEO participant four years ago. Today, she’s helping lead advocacy efforts across California and Oklahoma, advancing legislation, supporting campaigns, and ensuring participant voices are centered in the process.
She has contributed to efforts like AB 247, increasing wages for incarcerated firefighters, and AB 2095 to strengthen enforcement of Ban the Box in California. She also supports our Advocacy Leadership Committee, helping members build the tools and confidence to create change in their own communities.
We’re so proud to highlight Karina and her journey at CEO!
BIG news out of Colorado!
The Reentry Readiness Act has passed in the Senate and is now headed to the Governor’s desk for signature, marking a major victory for people returning home from incarceration.
For too long, people have been expected to rebuild their lives without the basic tools and support needed to succeed.
This legislation is a critical step toward changing that, helping ensure justice-impacted individuals leave incarceration with the documents, resources, and support needed to reconnect with their communities and access employment opportunities.
