This is a massive upgrade that helps us better serve our neighbors and meet the growing needs of our community. Special thanks to Carriage Cares (Hannaford’s cart distributor) for covering 100% of the transportation and delivery costs. Because of their generosity, this was a zero-cost win for our pantry!
Our Hoosick Falls Family Resource Center recently wrapped up a 6-week parenting workshop for our Family Advocates. To celebrate, the children surprised their parents with handmade thank-you cards to show how much they appreciated them taking the time to learn and grow together. We are so proud of these 8 parents for their dedication to their families!
Yesterday, Congressman Tonko visited a home in his district in Rensselaer County that is currently undergoing Weatherization work supported by CEO's Weatherization program. We want to thank Tonko for his continued support and for taking the time to both see and hear about the impact of this important work. From a high efficiency hot water heater to blown in insulation, efforts like these save families $400+ annually while increasing safety and efficiency. CEO hopes State funding can be secured in the Governors budget to keep this great work going! #WeatherizationWorks #CommunityAction #fundwap
