Rural communities don’t need to be saved; they need to be supported, trusted, and invested in. That’s what the Rural Impact Investment Fund (RIIF) is building across Central Texas. Last week, community leaders, organizers, nonprofits, and changemakers gathered in Elgin for the RIIF Grant Partner Celebration in collaboration with HEAL Alliance — creating space for connection, reflection, and conversations around strengthening rural communities across Central Texas. Through partnership, collaboration, and trust-based philanthropy, the Rural Impact Investment Fund (RIIF) supports organizations already creating meaningful change across Bastrop County, Caldwell County, Hays County, and Williamson County. At Central Texas Community Foundation, we believe real impact happens when communities lead, and philanthropy listens. RIIF reflects that in action. This is what community investment looks like. Too often, rural communities are overlooked but the leaders within them never stop showing up. Investing in rural communities means investing in the people, organizations, and grassroots solutions that are already working to create lasting change. The Rural Impact Investment Fund is proud to support 27 grantees across Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, and Williamson counties who prove every day that rural communities are worth investing in. We at HEAL Alliance are so proud to partner with Central Texas Health and Wellbeing Network and Central Texas Community Foundation on this amazing Grant and thank you St. David’s Foundation for making this possible. ✨

Real change doesn’t happen alone; it happens when communities come together. Last month, Central Texas Community Foundation partnered with @heal_alliance and fellow community organizations for Rural Reckoning: From Connection to Collective Power, a gathering focused on healing, leadership, and strengthening rural communities across Central Texas. Through conversations and shared experiences, we explored how relationships and local action can create ripple effects far beyond a single moment. At CTXCF, part of our role is helping connect people, resources, and community voices around the issues that matter most across Central Texas. Because when people come together with a shared purpose, collective impact becomes possible. #centraltexascommunityfoundation #collectiveimpact #ruralcommunities #communityleadership #change

Meet the nonprofits behind the impact. As part of Central Texas Community Foundation’s Giving Circle, Future Fund, we’re highlighting organizations like Deaf Advocates of Central Texas @deafadvocates , Hope Austin @hope4austin , and Yesterday’s Gone @yesterdaysgone501c3 —each creating meaningful change in our community every single day. Through this giving circle, your support helps provide funding directly to nonprofits doing critical work across our community, allowing them to grow, reach more people, and continue making a difference where it matters most. This is the kind of impact your support can create. Be part of what happens next. #centraltexascommunityfoundation #givelocal #community #nonprofitsupport #collectivegiving

It was truly an honor to attend an inspiring evening with the Central Texas Community Foundation and the Leading Ladies Giving Circle. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be in the room with so many incredible women and leaders who are making a real difference in their communities. Being able to learn from other foundations and hear their stories was both empowering and motivating. Moments like this remind me why the work we do through the Le’Nyce & LeeAnthony Fisher Foundation matters, and how important it is to stay connected, collaborative, and committed to serving others. #CommunityImpact #WomenInLeadership #LeNyceAndLeeAnthonyFisherFoundatipn #DriverReadinessProgram #ObserveTheLightDoWhatsRight

As this funding cycle comes to a close, each new Future Fund member directly increases the funding our nonprofit partners will receive. Collective giving works because participation increases what these organizations can accomplish. This year’s partners include @resetmentoringctx ,@hope4austin , @agiftoftimegeorgetown and @deafadvocates With our next gathering tomorrow, now is the time to join. 🔗 Link in bio to learn more or join #PhilanthropyInPractice #CentralTexas #FutureFund #CollectiveGiving #CommunityImpact
