In real life? It’s days of planning, road closures, safety meetings, traffic management, 12 truckloads, a 500-tonne mobile crane, and a whole lot of coordination before anything goes up.
This tower crane is now in place for Locale Parkside, our second rental tower at Century City in Surrey City Centre.
A big milestone for the site, and a solid reminder that construction doesn’t just “start rising.” It takes planning, precision, and a lot of people working in sync before the skyline changes.
Nice work to the BlueCity team and everyone involved in getting this one in the air.

A well-deserved industry nod for Joanne Shao.
