Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the final phase of this incredible Urban Housing Solutions community in North Nashville. What was once a derelict site has been transformed into an art-inspired, intergenerational neighborhood centered around connection, creativity, and community.
This final phase features 18 stacked duplex units designed with aging in place and universal design principles, all surrounding a vibrant central green space meant to bring neighbors together. From gathering porches to shaded community spaces, every detail was created to foster relationships and create a true sense of home.
We’re proud to have been part of a project that reimagines affordable housing as beautiful, thoughtful, and community-driven design.
Looking back on last week’s Experience Franklin tour for the ULI 2026 Spring Meeting!
We loved welcoming attendees to The Factory at Franklin for lunch, conversation, and a closer look at one of our adaptive reuse projects. From exploring the history and transformation of the space to taking a spin on the Carousel of Dreams, the tour highlighted how thoughtful redevelopment can create meaningful experiences while honoring a place’s history.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! And thank you @holladayproperties for hosting!
Adaptive Reuse in Action
Wrapping up the ULI Spring Meeting with a final tour! This tour dives into how Nashville is creatively reimagining its built environment, proving that adaptive reuse is anything but one-size-fits-all.
We’re proud to have two of our projects featured along the way: Breezeblock and Stocking 51, each showcasing a unique approach to transforming existing structures into vibrant, functional spaces that support continued neighborhood growth.
Be sure to catch Gina Emmanuel as she shares insights into the process, challenges, and opportunities behind these projects, and how thoughtful design can breathe new life into Nashville’s evolving landscape.

Housing the Unhoused
As part of ULI’s 2026 Spring Meeting in Nashville (May 5–7), this powerful tour offers an inside look at the people, programs, and projects working to address homelessness across the city.
From Nashville’s Continuum of Care to long-standing outreach efforts like Room in the Inn, this experience highlights the strategies and partnerships creating both transitional and permanent supportive housing. Along the way, you’ll hear directly from the changemakers, developers, service providers, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience.
A key stop on the tour is The Village at Glencliff, a meaningful project in collaboration with Open Table Nashville. Designed as a micro-home community, the Village addresses the critical shortage of accessible, low-income housing through thoughtfully designed 220 SF and under homes that are fully code-compliant, permanent structures. More than just housing, the Village fosters dignity and connection—pairing efficient, replicable design with shared spaces like gardens and recreation areas to create a true sense of community for some of Nashville’s most vulnerable residents.
This tour offers a deeper understanding of both the challenges and the innovative solutions shaping a more equitable Nashville.

Industrial Roots, New Development
As part of ULI’s 2026 Spring Meeting in Nashville (May 5–7), this tour explores the powerful transformation of The Nations, making it a must-see for anyone interested in how legacy industrial districts evolve into thriving urban neighborhoods.
Once defined by warehouses, factories, and workshops, The Nations has grown into one of Nashville’s most dynamic and sought-after areas. What makes it special is the balance where historic industrial character remains intact while new development brings fresh energy, design, and opportunity.
Along the tour, we’ll highlight two of our projects shaping that evolution:
Rock Harbor – A key redevelopment site that reflects the next chapter of The Nations, blending thoughtful planning with the area’s industrial DNA to create a vibrant, forward-looking environment.
Stocking 51 – A project that embraces adaptive reuse and contextual design, reinforcing the neighborhood’s identity while introducing modern functionality and new life into existing structures.
Together, these projects demonstrate how growth and preservation can coexist honoring the past while building for the future.

The Evolution of Nashville’s Southbank
As part of ULI’s 2026 Spring Meeting in Nashville (May 5–7), this site tour is the perfect way to kick things off!
From riverfront industry to a hub of innovation, this tour tells the story of transformation and no stop captures that spirit quite like the Trolley Barns.
Once home to 19th-century mills and later WPA-built service structures, these buildings sat forgotten for decades… until a vision for something more took shape. Through historic preservation and adaptive reuse, the Trolley Barns have been reimagined into one of Nashville’s most sought-after creative spaces.
Come see how the past fuels the future.

✨Welcome Micah✨
A proud Nashville native, Micah spent her early years exploring the woods of rural Tennessee with her siblings and sneaking into shows in the city with her friends, hobbies she still (legally!) enjoys today. After a few happy but aimless years teaching art, she found her calling and returned to MTSU to pursue interior design, becoming more inspired and fulfilled along the way.
After gaining experience across a mix of commercial and residential firms, Micah found her home at Centric.
Outside the office, you’ll likely find her wandering Shelby Bottoms with her greyhound and camera, or curled up somewhere cozy with a good book.
✨ Fun facts:
• She attended every home game of the Nashville Predators’ inaugural season and is still a die-hard fan
• Favorite artists include Tracey Emin, Faith Ringgold, and Wayne White (MTSU alum!)
• She and a friend were named Knoxville’s “Best Radio Personalities” for their late-night college show—and yes, she will keep reminding us 😄
We’re so excited to have you on the team, Micah!
We are proud to share our 2025 Landfill Diversion Stats! In partnership with Compost Nashville, Centric was able to divert 907 pounds of material from our landfills. This material prevented 44 pounds of methane from entering our atmosphere and created 299 pounds of new compost for our city. Thank you to @compostnashville for helping us promote healthy environments within our community!
This morning we had the honor of celebrating the ground breaking of Renaissance on Jefferson.
Marking a new chapter for Jefferson Street, the cultural corridor for North Nashville, this project honors the musical and entrepreneurial history while investing in its future.
Renaissance on Jefferson will deliver two components to the street. First, the new home for Citizen’s Savings Bank & Trust, the nation’s oldest continuously operating minority-owned and operated bank. Secondly, a 66 unit housing development will provide affordable housing for students of adjacent HBCUs facing housing shortages.
We’re proud to be a part of this team developing meaningful and impactful change in our community.
