As an enthusiast himself, our Head Engineer @kc_centerforce built a custom 4 disc clutch at #Centerforce to power their car, breaking the speed record out on the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in California! Can you imagine moving that fast?

Our centrifugal weight system uses RPM to increase holding capacity, allowing it to keep up with your engine's power. We also use our patented ball bearing technology, which increases clamp load, reduces pedal effort and increase the rate of release.

This latest upgrade features our JL internal clutch release system, replacing the factory setup with a more refined, durable solution. An aluminum release cylinder, billet piston, and heavy-duty bearing work together with a matched master cylinder for smoother engagement and better pedal feel, finished off with armored braided lines for long-term reliability.

Welcome back to Clutch Conversations, where we chat with members of the Centerforce family and get an inside look at their builds. This time, we’re talking with Jamie Allman, the builder behind the supercharged @TacoBeast18 . Q: What's your name, and where are you from? A: My name is Jamie Allmann, and I’m from Upstate New York. Q: What do you drive? A: I drive a supercharged 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Q: What's your primary use of the vehicle? A: Overlanding, hitting trails, camping, and road-tripping to explore new places (and breweries along the way). Q: What got you into that niche? A: I’ve always loved being outdoors: hiking, camping, fishing, and I’ve always been a big fan of Toyota trucks. This build lets me combine both. Q: What Centerforce clutch are you running, and how has it affected your driving experience? A: I’m running the Dual Friction high-performance clutch and flywheel kit with a Magnuson supercharger and Yotawerx tune. It’s made a huge difference. No more slipping, smoother engagement, and it keeps all the power going to the wheels. Q: What's next for your build? A: I’ve got downpipes and high-flow cats going in, plus a Stage 1 Magnuson tune update. I’m also switching to Stealth Custom Series Ray10s with 34” KO3s, adding HD leaf packs, limiting straps, and finishing it off with a carbon fiber hood and fender flares. Follow @tacobeast18 for more!
