Part 2. What happens when you mess with the littlest peep? They call on their peeps to come defend them of course.
The well behaved kids of the school age classes got to participate in the ending. They don't know it yet but Monday they get to pick from a selection of stuffies they get to keep.

Funnyntidbit: the squeaky shoes was actually his shoes and the final giggle at the end is my own daughter chucking her giant peep 😂
We played is it cake with my daughter and her friends this weekend. Did you guess which one was cake? 🤭 We let the kids do the decorating if you couldn't tell!
Peep pattern by me, yarn was bernat blanket. Cake was red velvet Pillsbury box mix cause I was too lazy to grab my mixer and make it from scratch 🫠
While I've had this idea for a few weeks and we were only just now able to find the time to execute it, it comes just in time for #croutonschaos chaotic crochet video challenge. We have other more chaotic plans but who knows if we'll finish them in time.
Time for a bit of vulnerability! Thought I would introduce myself a bit. While I'm not going too in depth, this little slides how gives an overview of me and my craft.
I will also add, I hate orange clowns and like my ice crushed. I choose to leave those things out of my crochet so it can be my get away from the horrible things happening in life, but know that I'm always rooting for basic human rights (at minimum) for everyone ❤️

Just finished this water dragon from @lahariknitsandknots as part of the @intothedeepcal . Gave it some custom painted eyes to mimic the horizon out on the ocean. Now to move on to my next project!
My leaf and fire dragon pattern was taken down on ribblr while I made some updates to make it a pattern I'm really proud of (instead of one I was only sort of proud of). The leaf dragon has gotten her full makeover. Fire is next.
The original pattern pdf is still available on ravelry. Those who have purchased the original will also get the revision when it's complete.
I'm hoping these dragons will go out for retesting in the next week or 2, pending life events. Want to test? Follow me here or on ribblr to get updates. I'll test in both locations with a select few individuals.
Need to clean up the front still, but just got done experimenting for a pattern I'm working on next. What do you think?
What would you use these eyes for?
Max turns 15 today 🥹 I've known this dog longer than my own husband. It's been a rocky few months. He's got a mass on his butt that keeps breaking open and bleeding, he's got masses and skin tags all over (including some on his legs that he won't stop licking and he's taken the fur off his legs), he can't hear, can't see as good, arthritis in his legs, but he's still here. On 2 pain medications, but still here.
We don't know how much longer, but we're enjoying what we can. He spends most of his days asleep and living in a cone 24/7... It's not the best quality of life so we may be making the decision soon to let him go so he doesn't need to be in pain and discomfort all the time. But for today, he's my baby. He's going to get some awesome snacks today and he's going to be a little prince.

Alright, what do we think? I learned some lessons with these ones. I did glitter but I chose a glitter similar to a color in the fruits with the plan to use a different color paint. That.... didn't work out. The dragon fruit kind of did? I did a black glitter with pink paint. But I did want to do white on the purple ones and no dice.
So now I know, matching paint and glitter color is ideal. These will be up on my Kofi soon and commissions are open if you have a design in mind that you'd like to have made!
Edit: Ha, jk. They sold the moment they got put up, along with the other eyes I had up at the time. But I had some other eyes sitting around that I forgot about so threw those up and my commissions are open ❤️❤️
The eyes are getting there but not quite ready! I'll pop back into Instagram tomorrow when they're all done and show them off, plus I'll be putting them up for sale at that time too. Only got one set though. I did open commissions for colored pupils in case anyone wanted to order some custom eyes in their own design ❤️
For now, what do you think of the updated lemonade eyes? Even got some sparkle in there 🌟❤️
