It can be hard to pull the trigger on great ideas in a world where seemingly everybody is doing any and everything for attention. Those who aren't willing to do whatever for clout tend to ask themselves "will anybody care?", "What if I fail?". My challenge to you is to immediately then ask yourself... What if it works? Then go do the thing.

I started @buildendurance bc the old agency model is a slow-mo car crash, a graveyard for good ideas. Even โ€œnewโ€ shops started by ex-agency leaders are just the same old machine with a better haircut. Same for shops who claim to be in โ€œcultureโ€. Iโ€™ve never worked at an agency. I donโ€™t know how to build a process that protects headcount or inflates billing. I wouldnโ€™t dare tell the smart people doing the work how to think. I definitely wouldnโ€™t put somebody who doesnโ€™t know shit about your business on your business. Endurance is a Strategic Intelligence System, not an agency. Active Operators: We deploy senior strategists from places like Apple, Google, and W+K who live inside the categories they work on. No Groupthink: 3โ€“4 strategists work in total isolation for 5 days. One Move: We donโ€™t deliver a deck for a discussion. We deliver the one clear move.
