So honoured to have been awarded the 1st Prize at the Bach Competition in Leipzig! It has been a very long journey towards this moment and I am just grateful to have been given the opportunity to share this music with the audience 😊 It was amazing to meet all the other colleagues. Congratulations to everyone for their wonderful playing and especially to @cello.hannes and @bartolomeo_dandolomarchesi for their prizes! Thanks to all the members of the jury, for their advice that I will always take with me. It was especially nice to meet again after many years with my former teacher @jpmaintz None of this would have been possible without the many people that have supported me throughout this journey. I cannot thank enough my dear @xenia_gogu for her support over the years and even more intensely in the last couple of months. You are the best companion in music and in life one can have. Thanks to my parents, who came to listen to the finals. It would have not been possible without your encouragement and support over my whole life. You are the best! Thanks to my family and friends for always being there and believing in me, regardless of the results and outcomes. Thanks to @watkincello for being the most inspirational mentor I could ever dream of. You have shown me the way towards the kind of music making that makes me happy and I will be always grateful for that. Thanks to my students at the @hku.utrechtsconservatorium I am beyond fortunate to have the opportunity to learn so much from all of you. I am immensely looking forward to continue sharing the love for music with all of you in the years to come. Thanks to the @muziekinstrumentenfonds for lending me a beautiful Cuypers cello. Thank you to @schlossweissenbrunn for helping me in the preparation. I will always cherish that week there. Final thanks to the organization of the @bacharchivleipzig for making everything so comfortable for us during these two weeks.
