Over the past two months, I have built a bench using old conference chairs. It is easily movable and allows for various components to be added, enhancing both comfort and aesthetics. Personally, I prefer the sleek chrome look without seat cushions, so I won’t be adding any extra components for now. However, the great thing is that I can always change my mind in the future—the mounting bars are simply covered with caps, making it easy to insert or remove elements as needed. This project has been a lot of fun. In the future, I plan to design some stylish seat cushions that will fit the bench perfectly. However, even without cushions, it is surprisingly comfortable—much more so than it looks! #design #designer #designobjects #recycling #upcycling #furniture #bench #makeover #homemakeover #interiorstyling #chrome #chromefurniture #diyhomedecor #diydecor #diyhome #diyfurniture #furniture #furnitureupcycling #secondhandfinds #secondhandfurniture #interiorinsperation #metal #interiordesign #interior #interiorinsperation #diyprojects #diyideas

Over the last few weeks I have been building a chair out of an old fire bowl. It was a big challenge to work with the different materials and to combine them in the manual work. I covered the bottom of the bowl with leather and the foam-filled seat with cotton. For the base I used an acrylic glass cylinder.

A few months ago, I started my biggest project yet since I began designing and building furniture. I had been wanting to build a bed for quite some time, but the idea always felt too big and overwhelming. Over the past five months, I worked on creating my dream bed. The moment I filmed the reel was incredibly special. It was the first time I saw the bed fully assembled. I was so unbelievably happy to see that everything worked out exactly as I had envisioned it. Since I’m not a trained carpenter, I often lack the know-how to approach certain things in the best way. I make mistakes and had never imagined the bed would turn out exactly the way I had hoped. That makes me all the more proud and grateful for the result! #Bed #pink #design #designer #study #designstudy #interior #homemakeover #furniture #diyhome #interiorstyling #diydecor #diyprojects #interiorinsperation #home #color #painting #paintingprocess #diyideas

Been a bit quiet over the last few months, but we’re finally back with another makeover… I started by cleaning up my balcony and then worked on the wall and the floor. What do you guys think? Next: building the furniture…

In my last video, I showed you how I made the fronts. Today it’s all about the countertop. After receiving so many messages about it, I decided to walk you through the entire process again in detail. It’s actually much easier than you might think to make stainless steel look great again. The countertop has been in use for many years and tells its own story…but I didn’t want to leave it exactly as it was. Now it’s ready for many more stories and for lots of new dishes in the future.

Here’s a slightly more detailed video of the kitchen fronts. I’ve put a lot of time and effort into this: on a few summer days, I went straight to the workshop after working out, quickly changed, and worked on the kitchen…sometimes in the sun, sometimes in the rain. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Next, I’ll show you how I made the metal plate look nice again.

A few months ago, when I got the approval for my apartment, I started looking for a used kitchen. I decided to give this old kitchen a makeover. The kitchen had been in use for over 50 years and was really filthy, but I thought, “Okay, let’s make this thing look amazing again.” The best part is that I got the kitchen completely for free. Everything except the backsplash was used and free. I am really happy with the result so far. What do you think?

I turned an old table into my little dream dining table for the kitchen. I’m just crazy about circles and spheres…do you have any ideas for additional functions for the ball?

came up with something special for the kitchen baseboards and decided on two tiles. In small spaces, it’s great to buy leftover stock, for example on Kleinanzeigen. At first, I thought cutting tiles would be a huge hassle, but it’s actually super easy and really quick. If you want to try something like this, always make sure to keep some leftover tiles for emergencies, so you have some in reserve in case anything breaks. I hope you like it!

Finally, I’ve finished painting the floor! You can’t imagine how much work it took to restore it and make it look this beautiful again with a fresh coat of lacquer. I decided to go for a white floor because the room isn’t very bright, and I wanted to keep everything as light and airy as possible. I can’t wait to show you more exciting things I’m currently creating in my kitchen!
