24 hours in Paris! Two weeks later I'm still coming down 🥹 Singing my heart out in front of @haevnmusic 's amazing crowd with my friends.. what an absolute treat. It left me even more excited for our own tour, starting in Amsterdam next month!

I had such a great time talking to @timophetbroek about the album and upcoming tour, and playing my new songs live with my band for the first time.. what a treat. After two years in the studio, playing live again feels like everything is coming full circle, and I’m so excited for what lies ahead.

Nothing to be done, nowhere to arrive 𓅪
My new song 𝙎𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨 is out now. I wrote this one with the amazing guitarists and songwriters Danny Fisher and David Austen, in their studio on a horse stable about an hour from London. We had a long talk about big life changes and making peace with the great unknown. The idea that even when you feel super lost, a part of you knows the way home.
As we talked over coffee, guitars on our laps, we could see swallows constantly coming and going in the garden we looked out over. We mentioned them in the song, and found out they historically symbolize a sailor’s safe return home. Out at sea, seeing a swallow meant land was near.
I think in todays world, we often feel at sea, and we try to get back to safety as quickly as possible. But what if the quickest way is the simplest? By letting go of an immediate solution, by embracing where you are, and knowing that land will come into view eventually.

De Amsterdamse singer-songwriter Celine Cairo beweegt zich tussen indiefolk en zinderende pop. Vorig jaar stond ze in een uitverkochte Eduard Flipse Zaal, waar haar show enthousiast en positief werd ontvangen. Met haar kenmerkende stem en gelaagde songwriting bouwde ze volledig independent aan een eigen sound en publiek.
Nu keert ze terug naar de Doelen met haar derde album Panacea. Over het album zegt ze: “‘Panacea’ betekent ‘wondermiddel’ en verwijst naar de Griekse godin van genezing. Het gaat over de zoektocht naar geluk: hoe meer je loslaat en in het moment leeft, hoe meer ruimte ontstaat voor liefde en licht.” Ontdek Panacea live in concert!

Paris you have my heart!! Opening for HAEVN at Le Trianon was a dream! What a gorgeous, welcoming, open-hearted crowd they have.. we couldn’t have asked for more. I felt strangely at home on stage thanks to your warmth, I can’t wait to return 🩵
