3 minutes from my 30 minute improvised solo for David Zambrano’s project SSS2 (Silo Solo Solamente 2).
I was one of 24 artists invited to create a solo in one week. One week residency with no sound no props no notebooks no costume, nothing but my body expression.
What a joy that week was.

The first 5 and last 5 minutes of this performance were beautiful. All the stuff in the middle was not HA (I told myself this year I want to be able to fail in public and me oh my hello). Some beautiful photos from my solo performance to close a wonderful month in Brussels and artistic residency at Tictac Art Centre. Thank you David and Mat for the invitation, a great excuse to see all the awesome people I can call friends and all the cool things they are making.
Back in Aotearoa now, feeling sexy and sunny and cycling and getting a brain massage from the quiet and the birds.
