It has been a treat to work with this super talented crew so far and I can’t wait to see the show myself. The opening is this Friday from 6-9.
The kids and I are trying out projects at home for the fall Color Fields classes. We made these shirts using the photographic process of cyanotypes. It was so easy and fun! Plus it starts with a walk in the woods and some concentrated looking at leaf shapes. I can’t wait to share this with our students at Color Fields!

We are pleased to announce that fall enrollment for Color Fields Art Space is now open! Classes are available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for ages 3-5 and Wednesdays September 13th for ages 6-10 from 3:30-4:30. Classes begin September 11 from 2-3pm and run for six weeks. There is an opening reception tomorrow from 6-9 during the Friday art walk.
I finally finished a few of these sculptures that I’ve been trying and failing and then trying again at for a few years. I look forward to many more failures but these puppies are done and headed to a show with my mom @pegbach at @frankgallery , the gallery that she’s been a member at for a long time. It is a really special place and a treat to step into her community for this. Also in the show are the very talented @caterboy and @susanfinerart
