Siobhan Wooster's installation invites you to create your own story about it. As yet untitled, it's a mysterious piece consisting of concentric. The two outermost circles each have 13 nodes (the inner one of different plants planted in ceramic bowls, the outer one of small felt cups grouped in threes), and these two circles are linked by threads to the plants as in the spokes of a wheel, or nerves. The outer circles surround a shallow iron bowl (adapted from a fire pit), standing on a flat, circular, glass plate. The bowl contains water and a rock. Siobhan's love of the eternal feminine in the way the Earth rotates, and in the influences of the phases of the moon as it goes around the Earth, may speak to a place in our psyches even as we rush about dealing with practical problems and getting stressed by the terrible state of the world. Is she asking you to let this arrangement of objects open your imagination to something deeper and more enduring and which, by referring to plants and water, and by being on the floor, is ultimately grounding? Whatever it means to you, the piece is for all of us, and it's not for sale. #canolfanllwynihirionbrynberian #jungianarchetypes #artcymru

Here's an image from the brilliant culmination of three days' walking, cycling and floating along the Teifi for #savetheteifi #achubyteifi last weekend. Belinda Ray choreographed a blessing beside the sea at Poppit Sands, a dance performance by three youngsters making waves with a curtain of iridescent gauze and pouring river water collected from the Teifi Pools ceremonially into the ocean. Music and singing accompanied the dancers and a lot of joy was released as well. How can we keep ideas fizzing when so many artists are canned in a system of patronage and reward that's so rigidly dependent on money and so full of hateful competition? Art tea cakers may take heart from the likes of #accidentalgods which is a mycelium for the mind.

One of the lovely photo prints on show by #tezmarsden. Come over and see the rest of the work in Art Tea Cake at #canolfanllwynihirionbrynberian before it closes at 5pm today. The tea, coffee and home-made cakes in the pop-up cafe are pretty wonderful too. Not forgetting the terrace and the pollinator-friendly community garden, with views of the Preselis (on a clear day!). Let's hope the weather holds!
