Say hi to ya new Holistic Nutritionist. I’m forever grateful and humbled by this journey I had within the last year. Even with all of the challenges I faced I remained focused on my end goal and I pushed through to the finish line. Nutrition has been a subject I’ve always had an inkling for, my primary focus of practice will be on hormonal health for BIPOC women. I recently completed teaching my first practicum on hormonal and herbal heath for women’s hormones in November and am itching to teach my next class(stay tuned).
Now I’m even open to becoming an ND, (Naturopathic Doctor) to extend my practice. I’m forever grateful for my friends and family who have showed endless support. I’m so proud of myself for making the conscious decision to go back to school. I’m not done with school but definitely need a mini break for now. I’m so exited to embark on this new journey for myself.
I say if you’ve been thinking about going back to school please do. It’s hard, lonely, and very tiring but I swear all of the hard work will pay off. This is truly just the beginning of a new and profound chapter for myself and my life!!! Thank you for everyone who constantly shows me support and especially my extended family (my friends) y’all have made this journey so much more fulfilling with your constant love and words of encouragement! Ahhhh I’m so happy for me 👉🏽👈🏽
I have never felt so much more connected to myself as a woman as much as I do now. My Saturn Return has been allowing me to receive a life full of so much abundance in each and every corner of my existence. To say the least I am grateful for the tremendous acts of change I have been forced to grow through. Behind this face is the many other ancestors before me in my bloodline who paved the way for me to be exactly where I am today. Praise to the most high and to me for standing ten toes down no matter the adversity. 💋
In January I drove up to Nor Cal alone to pick up my best friend to make our journey to Oregon. This place has been on my list of destinations to hike for years. Every year on my bday I go to the middle of no where and emerge myself with the forest. This was the first time I drove to another state. To say the least, we had a blast. It was during the LA Fires. Energy felt heavy, I didn’t know if it was smart to drive out alone for the first time but I’m so happy we did this. My birthdays are extremely special to me, I make sure I always take the time to plan my cold winter trip just the way I intended to be. I start off by looking up cool hiking destinations and was led to this Willy Wonka, Dr. Seuss of a forest. It was magical. It was surreal.Oregon definitely has a special place in my heart now.
