"hut 1965-2024"
Céleste Buyle and Quinten Vermeulen transform Vleeshal into a fragmented archive that captures the ideas and feelings of a recently demolished cabin. "hut 1965-2024" is an attempt to eternalise the aura of this intimate space carrying memories of the artists. By taking all its belongings out of their original context, Céleste and Quinten propose another trope of what once used to be. Within the exhibition space, a bench, a plate or a table become the symbols of a lost memory and the characters of a new story.
