When I first drew this guy he reminded my friend of her dog Charlie who would make this question mark tail ❔so now I always think of him as Charlie the tiger 🐯🍃

Had a lovely time teaching a greenware surface techniques workshop at @historicyellowsprings yesterday! Such a cool history and beautiful place, looking forward to spending more time here in ‘the village’! 😌
I started making color wheels as a teaching tool to show underglaze painting, they’re a great exercise in color mixing and so satisfying! @philamuseumstore commissioned some as small plates, and they’re going to be featured in a color wheel statement in their modern and contemporary design store! @amacobrent really bringing the vibrancy - these are radiant red, intense yellow, and electric blue. 🎨

My spring workshop at @snowfarmcraft will be all about greenware surface design techniques, like sgraffito, trailing, inlay, and underglaze painting, and we’ll be working with both light and dark colored clays!
