Being naked and sitting in hot water with other people is actually such a relaxing experience. I tried a sento for the very first time in tokyo, japan--an experience that I've been putting off because of how intimidated I was to not only be naked in front of other guys, but to do it without a tutorial on the process since all the signs were in Japanese.
But as much as I was nervous, all of that went away as soon as I realized that it's so normal and that everyone all came to relax and so I should too.

These past few months have changed me internally forever and there is not enough slides to include in this carousel to show how much this pushed me far beyond than other experiences have done before.
I literally could not even leave my bed the first couple days in Tokyo because I was scared af to even get this journey started and balled my eyes out the first week--to then pushing myself every single day to do something that I usually don't do. To go the road less traveled and to trust in my intuition and my strengths and to learn through my weaknesses even though I was terrified every single day.
If you ever feel like you're scared to do something, do it anyway. Even if by yourself. The time passes anyway if you do the thing or not.

Or at least that's what I thought until I actually faced the unknown and tried a capsule hotel/hostel.
It wasn't so bad and can see why so much people book them because of how cheap and clean they are.
I also thought that it was going to be a problem leaving my luggages where everyone has access to them but cmon it's literally Japan, no one really does that.
If you're in Japan and don't want to spend the $100 a night for a hotel and just want somewhere to hold your things, take a shower, and sleep, capsule hotels are where it's at ‼️
I'll save you the time and money, here's my honest opinion and experience about either getting the IKEA or the 3COINS travel duffel bag instead of buying a new lugggage. They are both very affordable at less than $10 but I do wish I didn't have to spend on one of them, as here's the one that I wish I didn't buy:
