One year of Walter! After losing Arden, I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be ready to bring another baby home. We met a few dogs, but they just weren’t the right fit. And then Walter found me. A rescue called me and said they felt pretty certain that they had found my next dog - and they were right 😂 The days before Walter was going to officially come home to us, I started feeling guilty, like I was replacing Arden, so while journaling, I asked Arden to send me a sign, that if Walter was truly meant to be my next baby, that he should show me a purple hippo (that was his first toy) and then I open up Instagram and BAM the first thing I see is a pittie (also known as a house hippo) named VIOLET. I cried. Since then, Walter has brought so much love and purpose back into my life and I am so grateful that Arden sent me such a loving ham 💜 Happy (belated) gotcha day, Walter!
2024. Part 1.
This year has been so good to me. We got settled in California, adopted a fur baby… and then another one, had so many visitors come enjoy the sunshine, spent more time than I was expecting in Portland, I saw a bunch of live music, took surf lessons, threw my body into a bunch of rivers, ate soup on a paddleboard, I got back into a pole studio, back into the gym AND started teaching again (?!?!) feeling very grateful to be feeling like myself again 💙
