Happy first Motherās Day.
Watching you become a mother to our beautiful Savannah has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. After 10 years together, through all the memories, challenges, adventures, dreams, and milestones weāve shared, nothing compares to this chapter weāre living now.
I still think about the moment we found out we were going to have a baby. From that day on, I watched you carry our daughter with so much strength, patience, love, and grace. Through every appointment, every kick, every emotion, every sleepless night, and every moment leading up to her arrival, you gave everything of yourself to bring our little girl safely into this world.
Thank you for everything you do for our family. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift I could ever ask for. No matter how many years pass, Iāll never forget this season of our lives and how beautiful you made it.
Happy Motherās Day, baby.
The sky gave me a new perspective, but my baby gave it purpose. On her first flight, I got to take my little co-pilot along for the journey and show her a piece of that, even though she slept for the most part. She probably wonāt remember this day, but one day sheāll have a story worth telling, that her first pilot was her father, and that we saw the world together before she could even remember it.
The Grand Staircase at the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge is a fullāscale, highly detailed recreation of Titanicās famous firstāclass staircase.
The staircase was built from Titanicās original Harland & Wolff deck blueprints and is intended as an exact replica in overall size and layout.
Little River Trail is an easy, scenic out-and-back hike in the Elkmont area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Itās mostly flat with minimal elevation gain, featuring wide paths of crushed stone, gravel, roots, and rocks.
Since I was taking my baby on her very first hike, it needed to be somewhat stroller-friendly. For the first 2ā3 miles, itās actually pretty manageable, and having an e-stroller helped a lot. The trail is perfect for families and hikers of all ages.
Entry to the national park is free, but youāll need to purchase a $5 parking pass if you plan on getting out of your vehicle to hike.
Took my baby girl out into the wild for the very first time. We explored the Smoky Mountains together, and watching her eyes light up at the towering trees and rushing rivers was pure magic. Seeing her take it all in, every sound, scent, and view, reminded me what wonder really feels like. Sheās officially caught the travel bug and I couldnāt be happier to have my little partner in adventure for life.
Traveling now is a little different, and people said weād travel less once we had a baby. Well, time to prove them wrong. This baby right here is heading on her first long road trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, for New Yearās.
Christmas 2025 hit different. Thereās no greater blessing, no greater gift, than a child. Watching Savannah experience her first Christmas, taking in the lights and the wonder. She wonāt remember it, but I will. And one day, sheāll feel the magic of this incredible day.
Savannah has brought us so much joy, and getting to experience all her little firsts feels priceless. This was her first harvest festival, and she got to see a pumpkin patch, go on a tractor ride, and even wander through a corn maze. š„¹
Before our baby girl arrived, I could never have imagined a love so profound. Her presence is a blessing unlike any other, and she truly feels like the greatest gift life could offer. With her first breath, a brand new chapter began, one that fills every day with new meaning and purpose. We promise to cherish and protect this precious soul for as long as we live. Now that sheās here, the world feels changed, as if all its weight has shifted and everything makes sense in a new, beautiful way.
One of the things we were most excited about when having a baby was getting to relive our childhoods through special moments like these. She arrived just in time for the best holidays of the yearāstarting with Halloween. Was she scared? Absolutely not! She took it all in with pure delight. Thatās my girl! š
