Last Friday I celebrated my birthday with so many nice people and it was such a wonderful party. Big thanks to the location, the Djs and the crowd.

It’s been a while since I posted something personal here. But the party I played last Friday felt like the right moment to do so. The reason it’s been so long is also because past incidents in the scene damaged my trust in Vienna’s nightlife. Along with that came a creative crisis in my music. I wouldn’t wish that on any artist, yet unfortunately some will know exactly what I mean. Only after going through something like that do you truly learn to appreciate the connection to what you do. I spent two years searching for that connection again and working my way back into the sweet spot of my DJing. And it all culminated in the event I had the honor to play last Friday. The energy, the crowd, the sound system, the location — it was a connection I hadn’t felt in a long time. The only way to describe it is a flowing conversation between the crowd and us. To those who say nightlife is going downhill or even dying: no, that’s not true. True lovers of electronic dance music have simply become more selective about where they invest their energy. And those were exactly the kind of people I was able to ignite that night. Anyone who knows the location will recognize it from the photos 🤌🏼 To everyone who made this possible: The total of 6 hours I got to play — among others with one of my best friends, @maxschell.moving — felt almost tantric. A special thank you to the birthday kids @vici.cso , @youfoundmonika and @cosmas7000 for trusting my music so deeply. Last but not least, I want to thank the woman who is at the same time my biggest fan, my strongest supporter, and my partner.
