Last weekend, the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four was hosted here in Phoenix, AZ and being a college basketball player myself, you can imagine I was pretty excited when the inquiry came through for a brand activation with @togethxr to engrave @stanley1913_brand bottles at @warehouse215 !
This was a full circle moment doing my new “job” (live event calligraphy) at an event that represented my old job (college basketball player). And to make it even more complete, I got to see my old college coach too! Shoutout to Coach McKeown 🙌
With activations around every corner, the TOGETHXR house was full of fun things for guests to do collaborating with other brands like Aveeno and Aflac including a full merch shop built out with Dicks Sporting Goods. So it was a party!

Engraving for the guests at @smath228_ and David’s flawless wedding at the @sanctuaryaz_ this past weekend was nothing short of magical! ✨
Guests had the option of coupe, rocks, wine or martini glass and then I engraved their names or initials for them so they could take their custom engraved drinkware home as their wedding favor gift from the thoughtful bride and groom. Sidney and David sure know how to make their guests feel special!
The guests and their reactions always make it so much more fun! Hearing reactions such as:
“I have never seen anything like this before!”
“This is so amazing!”
“You’re doing this all by hand?! That’s incredible!”
The delight and awe of the guests brings a huge smile to my face. It’s one of my favorite parts of the job!

With the options of martini or rocks glasses, guests lined up to have their glass engraved by me and the excitement and response was incredible! I engraved around 125 glasses in under 3 hours while the guests danced the night away and I had the best time.
