lauren sent a couple interesting reference tables for inspiration, and i sort of combined the ideas - chunky, "stacking" base that expose a bit through the top.
even though salvaged material kind of sucks to work with, i like to offer it as an option. i personally like how old doug fir or redwood look underneath the worn exterior. some nail holes and imperfections, but it can make it more unique. plus it's a step in a greener direction... with a lot of work 😅

to the previous lumber owner's knowledge, this wood came from a deck somewhere in the bay area. he used some of it but ended up not needing the rest
this was a fun project that i probably shouldn't have jammed into a tight schedule, but yolo
