教學主題：Collage Your Own Book Cover
是次工作坊以舊書為素材，引導小朋友進行拼貼創作，以「設計書本封面」為主題，鼓勵他們發揮想像力與個人表達。
參加者展現出豐富的創意，主題包括倫敦大火、朋友生日、水底冒險、完美班戟以及美味曲奇等，內容多元而生動，反映出他們對日常生活與想像世界的觀察與詮釋。整體氣氛投入而愉快。
過往在香港，我曾參與學校創意工作坊的分享；未曾預料這些經驗能在英國延續與發展，對我而言別具意義。
今年暑假，我將於三個不同地點舉辦三場不同主題的工作坊，持續探索藝術教育的多元可能。
Workshop Title: Collage Your Own Book Cover
This workshop invited children to create their own book covers using collage techniques with recycled books as materials. The activity encouraged imagination, storytelling, and personal expression through visual composition.
Participants demonstrated a wide range of creative ideas, including themes such as the Great Fire of London, birthday celebrations between friends, underwater adventures, perfect pancakes, and delicious cookies. The outcomes were diverse and engaging, reflecting both observation and imagination.
In the past, I occasionally conducted creative workshops in schools in Hong Kong. It is particularly meaningful to be able to continue and develop this practice in the UK.
This coming summer, I will be delivering three workshops with different themes across three venues, continuing to explore possibilities in art education.

我在英國舉辦了一場「人像繪工作坊」（成人）
My Drawing Portraits Workshop
我的人物肖像作品現正於 Edgware Library 展出。是次展覽同時延伸為「如何畫人像」工作坊，希望觀眾不僅欣賞作品，也能透過實踐深入理解人物結構與觀察方法。
工作坊迅速滿額。這是我首次以全英文進行90分鐘教學，我準備了完整的 lesson plan、PowerPoint、worksheet 及講稿，並設計8個循序漸進的練習，涵蓋比例、結構與線條等核心技巧，讓學員能即時應用於創作之中。
英語並非我的母語，教學前難免緊張，但學員的投入與正面回饋給了我很大鼓舞。有參加者表示技巧實用，能即時應用改變作品，亦有人希望我繼續開辦不同主題的工作坊，並指定由我主講。這次將展覽與教學結合，是我創作與教育實踐的重要一步。感謝所有支持與信任。

My portrait works are currently on exhibition at Edgware Library. Alongside the exhibition, I conducted a workshop titled “Drawing Portrait 101,” inviting participants to move beyond viewing and into practical exploration of structure and observation.
The workshop filled quickly. It was my first time delivering a full 90-minute session entirely in English. I prepared a structured lesson plan, presentation, worksheets, and eight progressive exercises covering proportion, structure, and line work, aiming to provide practical, immediately applicable skills.
As English is not my first language, I felt some initial apprehension. However, the participants’ engagement and positive feedback were deeply encouraging. Many found that the techniques shared were practical and immediately applicable to improving their work, and some expressed interest in future workshops led by me.
Bringing together exhibition and teaching marks an important step in my artistic and educational practice. I am sincerely grateful for the support and trust.

這次我以 iPad 及 Procreate App 為社區居民繪製數碼肖像畫，透過他們的故事與我的畫筆，一起呈現出這個社區的多樣性與人情味。
每一幅畫都代表一段生活片段，一個真實的故事。
展覽現正於 Colindale 公共圖書館（NW9 4BR) 展出，展期至 11月10日，還有大約一星期，誠邀大家前來參觀， 感受社區的溫度與連結，看看屬於我們的故事。

For this project, I created digital portraits of local residents using my iPad and the Procreate app. Through their stories and my illustrations, I wanted to capture the diversity, warmth, and spirit of our community.

過去幾年，我一直以不同的方式與探索社區。
在 2024 年，我為「過去、現在與未來」展覽繪製了 Grahame Park 居民的故事，展覽更於 2025 年 5 月移師到 皇家空軍博物館（Royal Air Force Museum） 展出。
剛過去的星期六，作為 Colindale Fun Palace 活動的一部分，我為居民畫人像畫，邀請他們分享自己同社區的故事，並將作品贈予他們，作為一份獨特的個人紀念品。
透過圖像與文字，我們共同呈現社區的多樣性。 藝術能夠建立橋樑，激發對話，也加深人與人之間的聯繫。
這些作品現正於 Colindale 公共圖書館 展出，展期至11月10日，歡迎大家前來參觀，感受社區的溫度與故事。

Over the past few years, I’ve stayed connected with this community in different ways. In 2024, I illustrated the stories of Grahame Park residents for the “Past, Present and Future” exhibition, which was later showcased at the Royal Air Force Museum in May 2025.
On 4 October 2025, as part of the Colindale Fun Palace activities, I spent the day drawing portraits for residents while they shared their personal stories. Each participant received their portrait as a keepsake — a small piece of art to remember the day by.
Through images and storytelling, we celebrated the diversity within our community.
These works are now on display at Colindale Public Library until 10 November 2025— come by and see the stories that shape our community.

🎨👩🏻🎨 Portrait Drawing Day
今天為居民繪畫人像，由上午十一時一直畫到下午四時，期間沒有休息，畫到活動完結才暫停。雖然身體很疲累，但當看到居民們收到畫作後露出笑容、眼神閃著喜悅時，我也感到無比興奮與滿足。

Today I spent the day drawing portraits for local residents, from 11am to 4pm without a single break until the event is over.
It was exhausting, but seeing the residents’ faces light up when they received their portraits made it all worth it. Their smiles and excitement gave me so much energy and joy. 💕
Thank you to everyone who came and supported!
These portraits, along with the residents’ stories, will be showcased next Friday at Colindale Library for 1 month — stay tuned!
