Happy birthday my love ❤️❤️❤️ 5-0, that’s wild!! I fell in love with you when you were (still) a young mand. Just 34 - hair down to the hips. Since then hair’s gotten shorter, but your appetite for life and adventures hasn’t changed a bit. Only a few new and more healthy habits have come along (but I guess that’s a part of turning 50 😜)
I love you to bits and pieces, thank you for being my everything and for giving me a life that is NEVER ever boring ❤️
Love this time of the year- mostly for the après-ski (tbh) but the hours spent in the snow with the kids and their cute little cold cheeks is quite special too.. 🤍

In this episode, we hear from two incredible women whose collaboration has shaped some of the organization’s most impactful chapters, as we explore the purpose-led initiatives, what goes into bringing it all together, and the continued value of supporting emerging talent amid what can sometimes feel like a battlefield even for the most established brands.

Cecilie Thorsmark serves as the CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week @cphfw
She has been instrumental in transitioning CPHFW into a global leader in fashion sustainability since 2018.
In January 2020, she presented an innovative system of sustainability requirements for all brands on the official show schedule, establishing Copenhagen Fashion Week as the first fashion week globally to enforce such standards.
Cecilie’s efforts to transition fashion week have garnered recognition, including her inclusion in The BoF 500 in 2022 in the Catalyst category for her role in “evolving Copenhagen Fashion Week from a regional event into a global leader of sustainability within fashion.”
Copenhagen Fashion Week is now regarded as the “fifth fashion week,” alongside New York, London, Paris, and Milan, earning praise from international publications such as The New York Times, CNN, Forbes, The Financial Times, The Guardian, and Vogue Business.
Before her current role, Cecilie served as Communications Director at Global Fashion Agenda and spent six years at the Danish Fashion Institute. Her commitment to sustainability and innovation continues to shape her work in driving positive change within the fashion industry.

Wrapped up 2025 in the best company last night 🤍🤍A little tired and foggy today (!) but from tomorrow I’m so ready to put all my energy into a 2026 that looks to be an extra BIG one…! Celebrating 20 years of Copenhagen Fashion Week, and topping that up with no less than three big birthdays - 10, 50 and 80 - plus a confirmation and a wedding all in my closest family and all within the first half of the year 😅🎉🎉
