Hey cat lovers! We have a great new product - a wool cat mat we call The Cat’s Meow! It is wool woven into fabric that we sewed together. It’s real wool pile fabric on both sides and 1.5” thick. Cats absolutely love them! Meet our testers who took to the beds immediately and gave a resounding two paws up! We make them in two sizes, 16”x19” and 18”x24”. Link to purchase them in bio. You do need to handwash them and let them air dry. To celebrate The Cat’s Meow we are giving away one of each size in a drawing. To put your name in please do following: 1. Like this post. 2. Post a picture of your cat and tag a friend. We will announce a winner May 23. #ceceswool #cats_of_instagram #cat

I’m in love with Andrea Mowry’s latest pattern called Flock Vest. It’s done in a worsted weight and our new Targhee yarn by Wool ‘n US is just perfect for this pattern! It is super soft at 18 microns and raised, processed and dyed here in the US. I can’t wait to knit it up! So many options to choose from. Purchase Andrea’s pattern on Ravelry and link to this fabulous yarn is in my bio! #ceceswool #flockvest #andreamowry

Our new neighbors asked us to let the sheep eat their grass instead of spending hours mowing the lawn which used to be pasture or hay field. The sheep were happy to do their part in keeping America green and refusing our reliance on fissile fuels. After several days we did a final mow to get what they didn’t eat and the lawn looks great! Good job sheep! #ceceswool #climatebeneficialwool

We love our Jacob sheep but not all of their wool makes it into yarn. We had bags of wool that are perfect for mulching the garden. $10/bag. There’s at least 10lbs in each bag. Find them at CeCe’s Wool at 2080 Western Ave., Guilderland.

A sneak peek at the colorway we are bringing to the MD Sheep and Wool Festival next weekend. We were inspired by the cherry blossoms over the Tidal Basin at the National Mall.
