Assisting @makinaill was a great experience and also my first agency nail assisting job π Thanks to my client/friend @raquel.vivve and makeup artist @carolinadali for always telling me my nails are agency-worthy and encouraging me to reach out to @thewallgroup π The dance/nail crossover for me was a pleasant surprise. If you know me, Iβm a dancer and have been since before I do nails so it means a lot to be part of a project that represents my personal brand as an artist with such an amazing all-female cast of dancers and athletes. Also every hairstylist, makeup artist and nail tech I met on location was so kind and Kim is such a powerhouse and I love that she used dance to tell Nike/Skims story. I could go on and on the end π Grateful

Sock curls tutorial on short hair yall asked for in my story πββοΈ
After only seeing it on long hair I tried it on my short hair and the result is so cute kinda like old Hollywood blowout vibes
Details β¬οΈβ¨
1. Hairspray throughout hair getting in between layers. I used @kenraprofessional 25 Volume Hairspray
2. Brush it thru
3. Section off the front piece of your hair and brush it forward
3. Take 2 socks and tie the toe sides together
** I think a thinner socks works best for short hair
4. Roll up the front piece of your hair into the sock and clip on the top of your head to secure while you do the sides
5. Wrap your hair around the sock from front to back picking up new hair each time kinda like youβre French braiding
** The key is to wrap the hair tightly and bring each piece fully back to the front before picking up a new piece
6. Secure with a silk hair tie and flip up the bottom of the sock over the end of your hair. Repeat on the other side
7. Take out the clip and put on a bonnet and sleep or wait π€
8. Take it out carefully and spray with more hairspray if you want π
