If magic isn't real, then I don't know what this is ✨️ I made another papercraft piece. This time, I used a waterfall mechanism to make the book move on its own. The legs and arm can also move through paper rivets. Each face of the animals aligns perfectly with the head of the character. Work like this truly makes me happy.
Also thinking about selling templates on etsy for my papercraft pieces so you can make them at home.

This was such a fun creative project. Designing something that feels on brand for my client but also creates a bit of crafty fun during the holidays for all the people who receive this card. What more can you wish for than receiving the gift of play?!
The design of the ornament was inspired by the architectural style of Bruges, where the studio is located.
The original model was completely handcrafted out of paper.

Second cute little jar I made recently. The head detaches, so it's perfect functional too!
The head of this was actually one of the first thing I ever sculpted in clay and was a study to a bigger piece I eventually repurposed. The body was meant to be an hourglass that I chopped in 2 to make a cute little jar instead.
