I’m endlessly thankful for my clients who have supported me so much over the years, my friends who helped make this happen over the last few months, and all of my tattoo community. This is my dream job, truly.

Tattoo needles are made up of a bunch of tiny pins soldered onto one bar. The needle sizes are representative of how many pins are on it. There’s a lot more to it, like the pins can vary in size and spacing which will affect the look of the line (bigger, bolder, softer etc).
A single needle tattoo means it is made using the smallest possible needle, one pin. Even then, you can choose a smaller pin or standard pin. Single needle tattoos require more time because very little pigment is being deposited with each impression, and they require more precision.
Like any tattoo, over time it’ll blur and degrade, but for a sweet few years it’s this tiny perfect thing, and for a few years after that it’s this nice fine line tattoo, and so on. Fine line tattoos are known to degrade faster- it’s not that the tattoo is degrading faster but rather that every millimeter of the tattoo is dependent on making the design translate as what it is. I make it a goal of mine that even over time, if it’s reduced to just a silhouette, the thing will still read as what it is & I think all of these tattoos do that. Personally I look forward to seeing the tattoos on my own body degrade over time along with the rest of my body 🤭❣️
